The Renmin area
Renmin Square is a nice place to relax. Several interesting buildings can be found there.
Especially the Shanghai Museum, rebuilt in 1994 displays an impressive collection of art craft
drawing you through the pages of Chinese history.

New buildings are erected, changing the sight of the city every month, still with the help of bamboos scafolding, whatever the height of the towers are. |

This huge model shows how Shanghai will develop in the next 20 years |
Leaving the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition you can reach Nanjing Lu, which is like Picadilly Circus
except that it's an avenue whose east part goes back to the Bund.
|
Nanjing Road is always crowded. It is the Champs-Elysees of the town |
|
The good tip : ff you want to really impress a Chinese girl, take her to Pizza Hut on Nanjing Lu. Another good (japanese) address to lunch : Sumo Sushi |
